Alan McCormick

Alan McCormick is a founding Partner of the purpose-driven investment firm Legatum. He serves on the Board of Directors for the END Fund, and is Chairman for the Luminos Fund, the Legatum Institute and the Freedom Fund. Mr McCormick is also a supporter of many other causes that promote greater freedom and prosperity around the world. Legatum is a global investment partnership that invests its proprietary capital in private and listed businesses and focuses its other energies on surfacing ideas and supporting initiatives that enable people, communities and nations to prosper. Mr McCormick sits on the firm's investment committee and has been particularly engaged with the group's social investment portfolio. Over the last decade, Mr McCormick and his Partners have founded several philanthropic funds, which include the END Fund, the largest private investment vehicle for eliminating Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). Legatum started tackling NTDs in 2006, in Rwanda and Burundi, by trialling the first mass drug administration, which ultimately treated over 9.7 million people in four years. Seeing that NTDs affected over one billion of the world's population, Legatum established the END Fund in 2012 as an independent vehicle to bring together private donors to accomplish one big goal: to see an end to the most prevalent NTDs once and for all. Mr McCormick has been with Legatum since its founding in 2006. He was formerly part of Legatum's predecessor, Sovereign Asset Management, and a member of its special situations team. Prior to that he worked for JP Morgan.

Alessia joined the END Fund in 2016, as an Executive Assistant. She currently serves as a Senior Associate Director on the Investor Relations team. Prior to working with the END Fund, she researched health issues and elderly rights for the Health and Human Rights division of Human Rights Watch. In previous roles, she helped refugees resettle with the International Rescue Committee in New York City, and contributed to international exchange programs orientations with AFS Intercultural Programs in Italy. Alessia received her MA in Liberal Studies from the CUNY Graduate Center, majoring in International Studies, and focusing on human rights and humanitarian action. During her undergraduate at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Italy, she majored in Mandarin and studied abroad in Beijing and Shanghai. In her free time, she takes long suburban walks with her husband and keeps up with the social life of her Corgi, Guinness. She also loves spinning, trying new recipes, and learning new sewing skills. Alessia speaks Italian, Mandarin, and Spanish.

Allison Morris

In her capacity as Vice President of Investor Relations, Allison oversees a team that serves the END Fund's growth and impact goals by providing high-level strategy, guidance, and execution for resource mobilization initiatives. Allison and her team work with the CEO, Board of Directors, and a community of visionary and engaged philanthropists, foundations, and corporations in service of three investment funds - the Flagship Fund, the Reaching the Last Mile Fund, and the Deworming Innovation Fund - and the organization's core operations. Allison also serves on the Fund's senior leadership team. Previously, Allison led foundation, corporate and individual fundraising programs at PATH, a global nonprofit advancing health equity through innovation and partnerships. In this role, she built a team focused on engaging a philanthropic community to support the organization's operations and capacity building. When the COVID-19 pandemic focused all eyes on public health, her team supported critical early investments in PATH's response and realignment of existing programs through the creation of a COVID-19 Response Fund. Before joining PATH, Allison held a number of roles at Mercy Corps, including Vice President of Corporate and Foundation Partnerships. Mercy Corps is a global team of humanitarians working together on the front lines of today's biggest crises to create a future of possibility, where everyone can prosper. She set strategy for partnerships that delivered impact, influenced global conversations, engaged key audiences, and met partners' core business objectives and philanthropic goals. While representing Mercy Corps, Allison has spoken at the Aspen Ideas Festival, US Chamber of Commerce Foundation, International Travel Crisis Management Conference, and Engage for Good. Allison began her focus on global health and development overseeing corporate partnerships for Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres USA and coordinating the organization's global corporate fundraising. In this role she negotiated MSF's first global corporate partnership with LG Electronics, supporting the Emmy-nominated "Starved for Attention" series of mini-documentaries and global museum exhibits. She worked closely with celebrity supporters to feature MSF during Paris Fall Fashion Week and the GQ Gentleman's Fund, created cause marketing opportunities, and developed partnerships with luxury brands. A passionate career fundraiser, Allison has worked for domestic and global nonprofits for 20 years. She earned a BS in Linguistics and Cognitive Science from Brown University and an MA in Strategic Communications from Columbia University. Allison lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband, two children and three dogs.

As Director of Investor Relations, Bridie works with activist philanthropists in Europe who are committed to harnessing the power of collaborative philanthropy to control and eliminate neglected tropical diseases. Formerly Head of Principal Giving at Oxfam, Bridie led the research and launch of a new department focussing on £1m+ gifts, including Islamic finance, and secured a groundbreaking multi-million-pound forgivable loan during the institutional suspensions of 2018. She has worked with high-net-worth clientele in the private and non profit sectors for over a decade, advising philanthropists on a wide range of giving across health, humanitarian, development, education, and the arts. Bridie currently serves on the board of Amref Health Africa UK, Africa's leading health charity. Bridie believes in the potential for philanthropy to be strategic and impactful but also joyful, and enjoys building deep, meaningful connections between philanthropists and the people and places they support. She holds an MSc in International Development from Birkbeck University and a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Leeds. Carol Karutu

Prior to joining the END Fund, Carol served a Chief of Party for a USAID funded integrated health project implemented by IntraHealth International in Eastern Uganda, where she provided technical, financial and overall managerial oversight across 30 districts and in over 600 health facilities. Previously, Carol served as project director for multiple HIV and AIDS, maternal child health, family planning and human resource for health projects supporting the design phase, implementation, evaluation and documentation with international and local non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique and South Sudan. Throughout her career, Carol has played leading roles in health workforce development, identifying and strengthening health service delivery gaps and building partnerships with governments and local communities for sustainable solutions. Carol received her Doctorate in Public Health (DrPH) and Master's in Public Health (MPH) from Boston University School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science (Botany and Zoology) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in Kenya. Carol's doctoral research which employed quantitative, qualitative and quality improvement methodologies focused on building evidence to improve retention of HIV positive women enrolled in the prevention of HIV from the mother to the child programs in Kenya. Carol is a 2014/2015 American Association of University Women (AAUW) International Fellow; a 2010 Boston University Distinguished Alumni Award recipient; a 2004 recipient of the Boston University Women's Guild Award for Academic Excellence and a 2003 recipient of the PEO International Peace Scholarship. Outside of work, Carol enjoys reading, long distance running, and visiting new places.

Catherine Garces

Catherine joined the END Fund in July 2018 and serves as a Senior Associate, Investor Relations. Prior to joining the END Fund, she worked at the office of Massachusetts Senator, Elizabeth Warren. While there Catherine worked on constituent casework, and answered policy concerns and federal agency assistance inquiries from constituents. She previously was an office assistant at the Mount Holyoke College Art Museum, assisting with donor relations and other administrative duties. Furthermore, Catherine was a Teacher's Assistant for the Saturday Scholars Program and STEM Summer Scholars Program at Hofstra University. Catherine received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Political Science at Mount Holyoke College and a Master of Arts in Government at Johns Hopkins University. During her leisure time, she likes to travel and read, and dabbles in cooking.

Christine Wächter-Campbell

Christine Wächter-Campbell is the co-owner of Winston Wächter Fine Art, a contemporary art gallery and consulting firm based in New York and Seattle. Founded in 1996 with her now Seattle-based partner Stacey Winston-Levitan, the gallery has been located in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York since 2008. Raised in Switzerland, Ms. Wächter-Campbell received her graduate degree in art history from the University of Zurich. In 1985, she worked at the Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice. In Paris, Ms. Wächter-Campbell headed the public relations office of internationally renowned artist Christo and assisted on "The Pont Neuf Wrapped" project. In 1986, she began working at the Blum Helman Gallery in New York;in 1989, Ms. Wächter-Campbell became the director of the Blum Helman Gallery. Ms. Wächter-Campbell currently serves on the END Fund Board of Directors. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor, New York. Christopher is the Senior Associate Director, Strategy & Operations. Currently he is responsible for the day to day operations of the office as it relates to infrastructure and office management. His background consists of a variety of service oriented positions in administration, operations and facility management. Christopher has completed two tours of duty in the United States Marine Corps. As a Marine he also performed the duties as an Accounting Technician in the Office of the Controller. He has served in countries such as Okinawa, Japan and the Philippines, and domestically, at Parris Island SC, Camp Lejeune NC, and Quantico VA. After leaving the Marines, Christopher has worked in numerous capacities for several nonprofits and public healthcare institutions, including The Consortium for Worker Education, Elmhurst Hospital Center and Columbia University Medical Center. Prior to joining The END Fund, Christopher' most recent employment was as an Associate Operations Manager for The Atlantic Philanthropies. His responsibilities included the day-to-day operations and facility management of fifty thousand square feet of multi-use space. His duties were in support of the Atlantic Philanthropies dedication to bring about global social change for the last 35 years. Christopher has a B.A. in Public Administration from the City College of New York. He enjoys cooking, running and riding motorcycles.

Corinne Irwin

Prior to joining the END Fund, Corinne served as the Director of Human Resources at American Jewish World Service (AJWS) where she oversaw a team of four to manage all aspects of HR, including talent management, culture, compensation, performance management and HR operations. Corinne has spent her career working for mission-based organizations in the global human rights, social justice and healthcare fields; previously working at AccessNow, Advancing Women Professionals and NYU Langone Medical Center. Corinne received her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Communications from Le Moyne College and is certified by the Society for Human Resources Management as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). Corinne also holds certificates from Wharton Business School in HR Management and Business Analytics and from SHRM on Building Inclusive Workplaces. Corinne is a native New Yorker and still resides in her hometown of Brooklyn. When not working Corinne loves to spend time cooking and being outdoors hiking or doing anything by the ocean.

Dan Daley

Dan currently serves as a Vice President, Finance & Administration at the END Fund. He oversees the operations of the Accounting and Finance Department, maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures, and is ultimately responsible for the preparation and issuance of accurate financial reporting. Prior to joining the END Fund, Dan worked with YPTC, an accounting firm providing nonprofit clients, including the END Fund, with accounting services such as month-end transaction processing, monthly financial report preparation, budgeting, cash flow planning/analysis and outside audit facilitation. Previously, Dan held senior financial management positions at MovieTickets.com, UGG Australia Outerwear, Timberland, Deloitte, and the American Red Cross. Dan received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Le Moyne College and is a Certified Public Accountant. When he is not counting beans, Dan likes to spend his time traveling and learning about the history and culture of other countries. He splits his life between New York City and The Hague, and is determined to learn to speak Dutch.

Daniel Boakye

Standing on the bank of the fast-flowing Gambia River in Senegal, Daniel Boakye observed fly collectors as they waited for flies to land. Stationed at the breeding site, the collectors' job was to capture each one of the small black flies into a glass tube. They would then be sent to the lab to be… As the Senior Technical Advisor, Programs, Daniel provides technical support to program countries for onchocerciasis elimination in line with current WHO guidelines and develop strategies and capacity building training to better equip endemic countries with the tools and knowledge to implement surveys, data collection and analysis, and diagnostic activities. Of particular focus is technical advice around program plans for the Reaching the Last Mile Fund portfolio in the context of onchocerciasis elimination and, where necessary, other neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). Daniel has over 40 years of research and program experience working on a wide range of vector borne-diseases and other NTDs (onchocerciasis, malaria, lymphatic filariasis, schistosomiasis, soil-transmitted helminsts, Buruli ulcer and leishmaniasis). He worked as the cytotaxonomist for the WHO's Onchocerciasis Control Programme in West Africa, was the Program Advisor for the African Program for Onchocerciasis Control and the Entomologist and Laboratory head in ESPEN. He has been providing support to NTD programmes nationally and internationally on the use of research results to improve program implementation and some NGO partners such as SightSavers International. He has served on various expert committees in WHO on onchocerciasis, LF, the Global Vector Control Response and malaria entomology. He served on the Mectizan Expert Committee and was a Panel member of the Leverhulme-Royal Society Africa award scheme of the British Royal Society. He currently serves on the National Onchocerciasis Expert Elimination Committees of 15 Endemic African countries Daniel has a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Science and Technology, Ghana; an MSc in Applied Entomology and Parasitology, University of Jos, Nigeria and a PhD in Medical Entomology from the University of Leiden, The Netherlands. Her team serves the END Fund's growth and impact goals by strengthening the organization's strategic plans; aligning and strengthening its financial, operational and human resources towards those strategic aims; ensuring good governance and risk management; and growing cross-organizational capacity to make evidence-based decisions and evidence impact through data collection and analysis. In a period of ongoing, significant projected growth and organizational change, Diana seeks to ensure the END Fund strategically and thoughtfully deploys all available financial, human, operational and other resources in pursuit of the mission via its three investment funds - the Flagship Fund, the Reaching the Last Mile Fund, and the Deworming Innovation Fund - and beyond. Diana also oversees the Reaching the Last Mile Fund's operations and governance. Previously, Diana led strategic planning at The Atlantic Philanthropies, the limited life foundation founded by Charles F. Feeney. Between 1982 and 2016, Atlantic committed more than $9 billion to social change around the world. Diana played a central role in grantmaking planning, facilitated decision-making by the CEO and Board of Directors, and managed workflow across the foundation's seven offices on five continents. Prior to joining Atlantic in 2007, Diana was a consultant at Robinson Lerer & Montgomery (now Finsbury), a strategic communications and crisis management firm based in New York. Dr. Cherinet Adera

Dr. Cherinet Adera serves as a technical advisor for visceral leishmaniasis (VL) initiative at the END Fund. Prior to joining the END fund, he worked for FCDO funded ASCEND project as a VL technical advisor for ministry of health of Ethiopia. Previously, he held a position of country clinical coordinator and deputy country program manager of FCDO funded VL control and elimination program (KalaCORE) in Ethiopia. He led a national clinical mentoring activity of VL and was involved in decentralization of VL diagnostic and treatment centers. He facilitated capacity building of health professionals in all VL endemic regions of Ethiopia. He coordinated different operational researches on VL. He worked in Medecins Sans Frontieres Holland as a medical doctor and medical activity manager in Kala azar and snake bite project, Abdurafi, Ethiopia. He was also involved as a co-investigator physician in clinical trials on HIV/VL co-infection. He also served as a clinician in different hospitals of Ethiopia. In his spare time, Cherinet enjoys watching movies and visiting historical places.

Dr. Katey Einterz Owen

Dr. Katey Einterz Owen is the Director for Neglected Tropical Diseases at The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the foundation's lead for pharmaceutical industry engagement. Katey has end-to-end responsibility for the Gates Foundation's investment portfolio in controlling, eliminating, and eradicating the diseases of the London Declaration. This includes active investment in lymphatic filariasis, onchocerciasis, schistosomiasis, STH, trachoma, Guinea Worm, HAT, and visceral leishmaniasis, diseases that collectively put at risk more than one billion people in the world. The portfolio funds projects with global private and public partners across the value chain, from research and innovation to project demonstration through on-the-ground delivery of interventions in Africa and Asia. In her role as the foundation's liaison to pharmaceutical company leadership, Katey facilitates regular interaction between the CEOs of pharmaceutical organizations with Mr. Gates, to advance global health goals through collaboration and innovation. Previously, Katey was the Deputy Director for Vaccine Development at the Gates Foundation. She joined BMGF in 2013 from the pharmaceutical industry. She combines a technical end-to-end view of product development and quality manufacturing, with a commercial understanding of the for-profit pharmaceutical business, coupled to practical solutions for funding and delivery in LMICs, all with a solutions-focused mindset and disposition. Her perspectives have also been shaped by her oldest sister, who spent her career as a primary care physician and health-district chief in rural northern Cameroun and her older brother, who co-founded the program AMPATH-Kenya with the Kenyan MoH and Ministry of Education. Prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry, Katey carried out academic research on influenza at the National Institute for Medical Research in Mill Hill (London). Dr. Vincent Okungu

Vincent Okungu serves as the Senior Health Financing Advisor, Public Affairs. He is a health economist with a track record in research and program implementation. He has served in various technical leadership roles to advise on, and produce policy documentation and presentations on health sector planning, and sustainable health financing. As a consultant, he has worked for various organizations including the World Health Organization, the UN Institute for Training and Research, USAID, the African Medical and Research Foundation, and World Vision. Throughout his career, he has engaged governments, and the private sector to communicate reform proposals, provide economic analysis and capture evidence to inform decision making on policies. Some of his achievements include forecasting costs for national strategy deployment and finances for sustainable NCD-related public health interventions (UNITAR-Rwanda); introducing an evidence-based M&E framework for performance monitoring in primary health facilities in Kenya; improving the potential of domestic mobilization of resources and planning health expenditure using the cost model and sustainability plan (WHO-Rwanda); co-authored and produced a comprehensive international report on care quality improvements, policy reviews and evaluations (the US National Academies of Sciences, Engineering & Medicine);improved planning, budget allocation, execution and reporting through the design and implementation of program based forecasting in Kenya and Uganda (USAID). Okungu is a member of the Panel of Experts at the National Institute for African Studies (UK), the Health Financing Technical Network (WHO), and the International Health Economics Association (iHEA). He has a PhD and MPH in Health Economics with emphasis in health financing from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.

Duncan Ochieng

Duncan serves as a Manager, Programs for the Visceral Leishmaniasis (VL) initiative responsible for technical management and financial oversight of the visceral leishmaniasis (VL) portfolio in East Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya,South Sudan, Sudan and Uganda). Prior to joining the END Fund, Duncan was the Country Lead for the UK funded Accelerating the Sustainable Control and Elimination of Neglected Diseases (ASCEND) Project in Kenya, where he was responsible for the entire country activities. Previously, Duncan served as the Program Director for the Interchurches Medical Assistance World Health (IMA) in South Sudan where he was responsible for management and technical support of the VL control program funded by the UK - DFID, primary health care funded by the World Bank, reproductive health funded by UNFPA, emergency health and nutrition funded by USAID and the control of HIV/AIDS funded by the Global Fund. Duncan has also served as the NTD focal point for the World Health Health Organization (WHO) where he provided technical support to the government and the partners in the control of NTDs in South Sudan. Throughout his career, Duncan has played leading roles in control and management of NTDs. Some of his achievements include the development of the strategic plan for control of Leishmaniasis and conducting the Schistosomiasis precision mapping in Kenya. Duncan has Masters of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Liverpool. Duncan's main interest is in medical field and spends most of his free time reading medical literature. Ellen Agler - CEO

Ellen serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the END Fund, working to see an end of the suffering caused by five neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) affecting 1.5 billion people. The END Fund actively supports NTD programs with dozens of partners in more than 25 countries, with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa. Previously, she served as Operation Smile's Senior Vice President for International Programs, managing programs to provide comprehensive care to children with cleft lips and cleft palates in over 60 countries in Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. She led Operation Smile's global public policy, collaboration and advocacy efforts to promote essential surgery as an integral component of global health policy and programming. Ellen worked on "health as a bridge to peace" initiatives bringing together Israeli and Palestinian surgeons and organizing medical programs in partnership with government, civil society and guerilla groups in conflict zones in Colombia. As Director of International Operations for International Medical Corps (IMC), Ellen focused on international disaster response and delivery of medical care in complex humanitarian emergencies in over 20 countries. At IMC, she led the organization's response to the East Asia Tsunami in 2004 and oversaw programs in Darfur, Somalia, Iraq and Afghanistan. Ellen holds graduate degrees in International Health from the Harvard School of Public Health, with a focus on humanitarian affairs, and in Development Studies from the London School of Economics, with a focus on non-profit management and child rights. She has completed postgraduate studies in Conflict Resolution at Universidad de Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia. Ellen currently serves on the board of the Legatum Institute, a London-based think tank that promotes policies that lift people from poverty to prosperity. She serves on the World Economic Forum's Global Health Security Advisory Board and Uniting to Combat Neglected Tropical Diseases Stakeholders Working Group. Ellen enjoys spending time with her daughter, who is in elementary school, and whenever possible fits in yoga, hiking, meditation, and helping her friends and colleagues with the many amazing causes they are involved in! Ellen's book, Under the Big Tree: Extraordinary Stories from the Movement to End Neglected Tropical Diseases, was published in January 2019 from Johns Hopkins University Press.

Ellie Dehghan

Ellie Dehghan is passionate about utilizing her legal background to help nonprofits maximize impact. Most recently, Ellie served as Head of Legal and Director of People for Callisto - a nonprofit tech startup working to combat sexual assault and advance justice. Ellie began her career as a litigation associate at Bryan Cave LLP. She then spent six years designing and delivering legal services to meet the needs of vulnerable populations throughout California. This included working with youth experiencing homelessness in Silicon Valley through Bay Area Legal Aid's Youth Justice Project, assisting patients of St. John's medical clinic in South Los Angeles through the Medical Legal Community Partnership at Neighborhood Legal Services, leading the delivery of legal services to rural and isolated communities, throughout Northern California at OneJustice, with a focus on immigrant communities, and creating Callisto's legal advice and counseling program for victims of repeat offenders of sexual assault. Ellie's commitment to her work is influenced by her own family's story. The daughter of Mexican and Iraninan immigrants, she has called the San Francisco Bay Area her home since her family fled the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s. Ellie is a graduate of UC Berkeley and Stanford Law School. She enjoys hiking, writing, cooking, and spending time with her husband and their mischievous and smiley five-month-old son.

Prior to joining the END Fund as a full-time employee, Eugene was a consultant as Senior NTD Technical Advisor for the END Fund. For five years, his main functions have been to provide technical support to the Rwanda national program and to manage grants from the END Fund. Previously, he served in the same role for four years as In-country Program Manager for the SCI at Imperial College London. Eugene has been involved in the National NTD Control Program since its inception in mid-2007, working as the NTD Research and Treatment Coordinator at the Access Project - Columbia University, Kigali. A few months earlier, he had been recruited as a consultant to develop the first NTD grant proposal and the implementation plan. He was also Head of the NCD Department for the MOH and GP at Byumba District Hospital, Rwanda. Since 2015, Eugene has had the opportunity to support ESPEN/WHO/AFRO in Brazzaville as Consultant. Eugene holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the National University of Rwanda, and an MScPH (Disease Control) from the Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp, Belgium. He also has a Certificate in "Health and Human Rights - Dimensions and Strategies" from WHO&GIZ. He is a guest lecturer in NTDs at the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE), Rwanda. Eugene is the author of an article on schistosomiasis in Rwanda which earned him the Rwanda Medical Journal's 2008 Aimée Niyikiza Memorial Award as the Best Young Rwandan Biomedical Researcher of the year; honored by the presence of the President of the Republic of Rwanda, H.E Paul Kagame. Before joining the END Fund, Hannah served two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ghana where she focused her work on economic empowerment, youth education, health, and nutrition. On a larger scale, Hannah planned and led training sessions for new volunteers on cross-cultural issues as well as organized regional and countrywide youth conferences focusing on leadership and gender empowerment. Hannah is an incoming Master's student at the University of Maryland studying Industrial-Organizational Psychology. Ms. Irene currently serves as a Director, Programs for the END Fund. She possesses over 20 years' experience in public health programs development and management in Africa. This entails the establishment, expanding and advancing projects/programs, implementing multi-sectoral approaches for impact, nurturing strategic partnerships with public/governmental institutions, the private sector, non-governmental agencies, regional, national and community-based institutions. Irene joins us from World Federation of Haemophilia where she was the Africa regional lead responsible for giving leadership, enhancing service delivery, and providing advisory and technical support in advancing and expanding the organization's healthcare development agenda. She expanded the WFH regional presence to 28 countries in Africa and expanded the program portfolio by over 35%. She influenced the activation of four country governments to recognise and support bleeding disorders programs including facilitating the established of Haemophilia Youth of Africa, a youth led initiative to empower youth to lead and make a difference in their respective bleeding disorders community in Africa among other accomplishments. Earlier, she worked with IntraHealth International, Research Triangle Institute International, University of Maryland and PATH International. She brings added value with skills in Health Systems Strengthening, Human Resources for Health, Policy development/review, advocacy, capacity building, community development, resource mobilization, knowledge management, contracting, monitoring and evaluation, research and financial/grants management among other skills and experience. In this role, Ivy supports the Program Director in program management and oversight for a portfolio of neglected tropical disease (NTD) control programs. Prior to the END Fund, Ivy worked with a range of international organizations from the World Health Organization (WHO) to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in different capacities such as grant writing, project management support and information management. At the WHO, Ivy supported the team on procurement and supply management of antiretroviral treatment purchased by national programs in low and middle-income countries. At UNHCR, Ivy supported the Programs team by preparing communication materials and donor reports for the various evolving emergencies such as the South Sudan emergency and other humanitarian needs within the East and Horn of Africa region. Ivy received her MSc in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. She also holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the City University of New York (CUNY), Queens College. In her spare time, Ivy enjoys traveling, hiking and reading novels.

Jamie previously served as Senior Public Health Specialist for NTDs. She provided technical oversight of NTD initiatives with a focus on partnership development. She formerly worked at the Task Force for Global Health where she held a variety of consultancy and full-time staff roles with the International Trachoma Initiative (ITI), the Mectizan Donation Program (MDP), and Children Without Worms (CWW). Prior to that, Jamie worked at The Carter Center for more than seven years with the Center's Guinea worm Eradication and Trachoma Control Programs, Office of Development, and served twice as an election observer for the Center's Democracy Program. Jamie holds a Master of Public Health specializing in Program Design and Implementation from Tulane University's School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from Clemson University. She also has a Registered Nursing degree from Georgia State University's Perimeter College. Prior to joining the END Fund, Joy was the Marketing & Advocacy Executive for a leading independent research company, Ask Afrika. She was formerly the Marketing & Fundraising Manager at HospiceWits, a reputable non-profit organization that provides palliative care to thousands of people annually. Joy's passion for business integration and growth saw her serve as President for the Johannesburg Masters Business Network International (BNI) Chapter, a business and professional networking organization whose sole purpose is to generate business for its members. She spent 8 years as a Retail Business Consultant and Brand Associate for Caltex, a global oil and gas company. Joy completed her BCom degree in Management and Economics at Rhodes University. Kalkidan joined the END Fund in May 2021 and serves as Director, Programs. In this role, Kalkidan oversees the END Fund's investment in Ethiopia, particularly focusing on the Deworming Innovation Fund. Prior to joining the END Fund, Kalkidan worked for the Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI) as a public health researcher for over 9 years. He has supported the Ethiopian Federal Ministry of Health's since the launch of the national Neglected Tropical Diseases program. Kalkidan was involved in the nationwide mapping of schistosomiasis and STHs, LF and podoconiosis, and onchocerciasis. Since 2015, he coordinated the monitoring and evaluation of the national schistosomiasis and STH control program through sentinel schools in the country. Recently, Kalkidan led a multi-faceted project with an objective to determine cost-effectiveness of transmission break of Schistosomiasis and STHs. The project, known as "Geshiyaro", targets more than 2 million people in Wolayita zone, SNNP region. Kalkidan holds a Masters and Bachelors of Science in Medical parasitology and applied biology from Addis Ababa University. He also has BSc in Pharmacy from Central Health College (now Rift Valley University). In addition, he received a two year training certificate from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in collaboration with EPHI on operational research and coaching of analysts (ORCA).
