SIMULATOR

The ONS was developed in Java and uses discrete event to simulate traffic requests an optical WDM network or EON. His ability to include developing and evaluating new research related to the Routing and Wavelength Assignment (RWA) problem of WDM networks and Routing, Modulation Level, and Spectrum Allocation (RMLSA) problem of EON networks, both in dynamic traffic scenarios. The ONS is designed to make easy the implementation of new algorithms (RWA / RSA / RMLSA) providing an agile implementation and satisfactory performance even when simulated in large network topologies.
