STONINGTON SMALL BOAT ASSOCIATION

SSBA was established in 1976 as per a Stonington Town meeting. The land area is leased from The Town of Stonington for $1.00 per year. Since 1976, about $60,000.00 of SSBA money has been spent to take care of space storage and prevent erosion. Every year, volunteers provide TLC and contribute to feeling of community. Thirty four boats were stored the first year, we currently have spaces for 138 boats and kayaks... Welcome to Stonington Small Boat Association. Our goal is to support safe and active sailing, boating and kayaking. SSBA has provides small boat storage in Stonington Borough. Storage space is available for non-motorized seaworthy vessels of less than 20 feet and under 300 lbs. We currently have 138 spaces available for members.
