STEM 2030 is registered as a limited liability company with the first part of the company name - STEM being an acronym for Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics; the second part - 2030 emanates from the Kenyan national development blueprint covering the period 2008 to 2030 which aims to transform Kenya into a newly industrializing. Our mission is to give national science and technology development an extra boost and to that we have an extra-long wish-list... We offer hands-on programs to enable young people gain hands-on access to practical science and technology activities. The idea of offering STEM to young people arose back in 2008 when we realized that much of the technical theories that were being taught to young people in school remained abstract and would never be applied or conceived as practical solutions for national development because of that limitation. We therefore started off with basic robotics for school but have steadily added higher level technology focused..
