Frank Sullivan grew up in Massachusetts and moved to New Hampshire as a young adult... A self-educated student of history, Frank appreciates the historical aspects of home weaving. For his own tactile education, he has studied the methods and materials of historical fabrics and replicated them to the best of his ability on his looms. Authentic fabrics connect him to history, and he uses that connection to educate younger generations as a volunteer educator at the Fort at #4 in Charlestown, NH... For 25 years, Frank Sullivan worked as a machine tool engineer. He retired from that work, but the pursuit of skill and a love of history led him to take up weaving.
