We met while working in a crowded and fast-paced sports medicine physical therapy clinic in New Orleans, Louisiana in January of 2018 - but the universe had connected us years before we even knew it. After a year of learning from each other, treating patients together, and intense games of H-O-R-S-E in the clinic, we discovered that we were practically related - RT's older sister and Niraj's college roommate had dated in high school, so Niraj had met RT's sister before he even knew RT. We had several mutual acquaintances and friends that just never came up since we met later in life. And Niraj's college soccer teammate ended up marrying RT's sister down the road!... Another thing that we shared was that we both hated how people were herded in and out of our clinic like cattle. We wanted to deliver excellent care, but were bogged down by loaded schedules and health insurance restrictions.
