In the early 1980's Nick Polimenakos, a young Greek immigrant living in Chicago, set out in search of a brighter future for his family on the West Coast. Working in restaurants as a server for the better part of a year, he searched for a place to call his own and the opportunity to reunite his family in Seattle. Finally, he found the perfect fit - Vera's.
