As the Program Manager, Candice Abercrombie is responsible for Project and Survey Management by working closely with the Sales and Delivery team to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and within scope. Prior to joining the KMS team, Candice was the Project Coordinator at The University of Kansas Health System. Her responsibilities included working with Health System's IT and Project Management Departments. She supported the team by organizing and facilitating planning sessions for upper-level management. In her free time, Candice enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Cari Lynn

As the Office Manager for Kansas Manufacturing Solutions, Cari Lynn is responsible for assisting with KMS/KCMN/CKMN marketing efforts, event planning, and general office administration. She also acts as the Human Resources and IT liaison. Cari was previously the Investor Relations Coordinator at Wyandotte Economic Development Council. In her 10 years at WYEDC, Cari was responsible for marketing, managing the website and social media, event planning, general office management and invoicing as well as managing the President's calendar. Cari graduated from The University of Kansas, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. ROCK CHALK! Cari currently resides in Bonner Springs with her fiancé, Cody, three children and their dogs, Ryder & Remy. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, attempting to become a better cook and coming up with home improvement projects for Cody.

Danica Rome - VP

In her role, Danica assumes a strategic role in the overall management of the company as a board-appointed officer of the organization. Partnership and program strategy and implementation are a critical function of her position. Danica is responsible for developing, growing, and strengthening partnerships with organizations across the state that have a shared interest in helping create growth for Kansas manufacturing and the ecosystem that supports these companies. Danica has consulted on federal, state, and county workforce programming for approximately 15 years, concentrating on businesses affiliated with the manufacturing industry. In her previous role as Senior Director of Business Expansion/Retention and Workforce Solutions with Wyandotte Economic Development Council (WYEDC), she led efforts to retain, grow, and nurture partnerships with Wyandotte County businesses, investors, training providers, and community organizations. Danica studied Communications at Southwest Baptist University. She and her husband, Kirk, have an 18-year-old daughter, Madison. They enjoy traveling, attending professional sporting events (GO CHIEFS) and concerts, as well as spending time with friends and family.

Dave Stein

As a Kansas Manufacturing Solutions Regional Director, Dave Stein is the face of Kanas Manufacturing Solutions for east Kansas. In his role, Dave is responsible for helping Kansas manufacturers realize their competitive opportunities. He meets with manufacturers, listens to their individual challenges and provides advice and resources to reduce their pain points and grow their businesses. Dave has worked in a variety of roles selling to and advising clients. For 18 years, he worked for Anheuser-Busch, helping distributors and retailers grow their business. Concentra Urgent Care had the benefit of Dave's skills in developing their occupational healthcare business. Additionally, Dave did consulting work in a small business he operated five years with a business partner. Immediately prior to joining KMS in 2018, Dave developed a strategic partnership program for SkillPath. Dave enjoys networking and connecting to members of the business community in Kansas City. He is involved in several community organizations and stays fit through pickleball, racquetball, walking, cycling, and various other activities.

Dr. Monica Stewart

As the Director of Strategy and Solutions, Monica Stewart is responsible for the development and delivery of programs to support small and medium sized manufacturers aiming to improve their business model and achieve future growth and success. Monica is a dynamic facilitator with a reputation for supporting change management and improving organizational health. With over 15 years of professional experience in skilled training, project management, strategic planning and business development Monica brings a wealth of knowledge and a positive, engaging, and inclusive mindset to the table. Monica holds bachelor's degrees from Kansas State University and Newman University, and a master's degree from Pittsburg State University. In 2017, Monica earned her doctorate in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Creighton University. In her free time, Monica enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves to read, travel, and spend time in nature.

Jason Willey

As the Supply Chain Management Specialist for Kansas Manufacturing Solutions, Jason is responsible for the development and delivery of supply chain programs to our clients throughout Kansas. He plays a crucial role in identifying and implementing supply chain services for manufacturers that lead to increased risk mitigation, improved bottom line, and overall operational excellence. Jason is also responsible for managing the CONNEX KS platform, which facilitates connections between Kansas manufacturers for domestic supply chain sourcing. Prior to joining the KMS team, Jason served as Supply Chain Coordinator at Premium Waters Inc where he was responsible for managing high-value raw materials for 11 plants across the United States. In his 10 years there he was instrumental in creating opportunities for production plants to be successful through orchestrating the addition of production lines to multiple plants and cultivating long-lasting relationships with vendors and co-manufacturers. His knowledge of the supply chain infrastructure helped with the implementation of highly accurate forecasts and capacity models. Jason received his Master's in Business Administration from Southwest Baptist University. In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and their energetic toddler son who keeps them constantly on their toes. He also enjoys cheering for the Royals, Chiefs, and Mizzou.

Jeff Glimpse

He actively promotes training opportunities that Hutch CC provides manufacturers. Jeff brings more than 37 years of experience in recruiting and management collaboration to the KMS and Hutch CC Teams and is a 3rd generation WSU graduate. Jeff resides in Newton with his wife, Jan. Micaela Marshall

Prior to joining KMS, Micaela served as the Continuous Improvement Engineer at Custom Truck One Source. In this role, she was responsible for implementing lean manufacturing initiatives, optimizing production processes, and driving efficiency improvements across various departments. In her free time, Micaela enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and running. Born & raised in Texas, Micaela still roots for the Spurs and thinks Texas BBQ is better than KC BBQ.

Phil has 17 years of B2B marketing experience with Sprint. Phil enlightened people about wireless communication's ability to keep them connected to the people and things that are important to them. He created messaging and implemented marketing tactics at a local market level to enhance awareness of Sprint's business solutions and create lead-generation opportunities for the Business sales teams. Phil had exposure to Enterprise-size customers, as well as mid and small-size customers. His regional coverage shifted periodically, so he was able to experience the different market demographics in cities from the West Coast to the East Coast. Phil enjoys being creative, soccer, biking, and spending time with his wife and three sons.

In his role as Executive Director, Spencer Monaco is responsible for the overall management and functions for the Kansas Networks - Kansas City Manufacturing Network and the Central Kansas Manufacturing Network. A natural leader and networker, Spencer enjoys leading our network and taking care of member needs, pursuing new manufacturers, and has been a wonderful addition to our team. Prior to joining KMS, Spencer worked in marketing and sales, construction operations management, and most recently worked for a company who designed and manufactured net-weigh bag scales. Spencer enjoys trivia, is a self-taught guitar and piano player and loves attending live music shows. In 2023, Spencer attended his 100th concert when he and his father saw Kenny Wayne Shepherd at the Uptown Theater.

Susan Scholler

Susan is a Senior Accountant with more than 30 years of experience in the day-to-day functions of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. At Kansas Manufacturing Solutions, Susan uses her skills and experience to expertly maintain the company's financials, as well as act as the employee benefits liaison. Susan is also a Kansas notary. In her free time, Susan is a competitive softball player in the Kansas City Metro Senior Softball League & Sho-Me Softball Tournament team, which takes her all over the U.S. to compete in some of the biggest tournaments in the country. Most recently, her team won the gold medal in The Huntsman Games in UT. Susan is also a lifelong Chiefs fan and makes a mean cookie cake!

Tiffany is a vocal advocate for Kansas manufacturers. She has developed partnership relationships with key local and state organizations with the goal of ensuring that manufacturers' issues are heard at the level where decisions to support the industry can be made. Tiffany is an alumni of Leadership Kansas, class of 2020 and was honored by Ingrams magazine as one of 50 Kansans to know in 2022.
