KERNOW GRAIN LIMITED

Kernow Grain was established on a green field site in 1998 and now has a 18,000t storage capacity with the potential for further cost effective expansion... Grain store in Cornwall. Storage is silo based with 16 silos for storing a wide variety of crops. The store runs two continuous flow driers each with a 21t/hour capacity. Full cleaning and grading facilities are also available, including a four-screen rotary drum grader. All grain is fully analysed on intake. Moisture, nitrogen, protein and oil contents are measured using an Infratec analyser calibrated and continuously checked as part of a testing 'ring'. Grain is then held in ventilated silos before pre-cleaning prior to drying and storage.
