Guy James Murray-Bruce was born in Lagos, Nigeria on November 15, 1963. In 1985, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from California State University, USA. He is currently the Vice President, Silverbird Group.
Guy's career with Silverbird began in January 1992, as part of the television syndication unit. His portfolio expanded in 1997, when he ventured into radio broadcasting and emerged as the Head of the Radio unit and its channel operation Rhythm 93.7fm, Lagos.
His experience in Radio management exposed him to challenges of competitive growth in an emerging market place and he knows, more than most, that competition is a healthy part of business.
He broke into television in 2003 and ascended the helm of STV. Following his time with STV, he launched Silverbird Dream Network in 2011, following a successful bidding process carried out by the National Broadcasting commission.
ChiefG.O.C Amuchienwa is the founder Chairman and visionary of ACSG (Africa Consolidated Services Group). He is an accomplished business man and an advocate of Total Quality Management (TQM). Over the last 20 years of active business, he has been in various core sectors spanning Marine logistics services, shipping - Wet Cargo brokerage/operations, Crude Oil and Petroleum Products trading, Construction, Dredging, Financial and Investment advisory services, and Solid Minerals exploration/mining.
Mrs. Truman is a seasoned "retired Bank Executive technocrat" and accomplished businesswoman with over 21 years experience. Her first 11 years of experience was in the Banking Industry where she excelled and had a reputation of leading the bank managed by her into a profitable position within the industry. After that spell she gained further valuable experience in business development and financial services as Executive Director of Interdas Limited with head office in New York and Nigeria. She was to this effect involved in sourcing of funds and disbursement via Foreign Direct Investment to projects in the African continent.
She has specific expertise in establishing and developing medium and large scale enterprises and promoting business/finance advisory services, NGO'S or International Organizations that work on projects related to Education, Poverty alleviation, human resource development, strategic management and training. She is an active member of the center for Management Development, Nigerian Institute of Management, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. Her wisdom, experience and commitment to total quality management is invaluable to the Southgate family.
