ADAMFB - Key Persons
A seasoned administrator, journalist and Banker. He is a graduate of political science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. His career started as writer/reporter with the triumph newspapers in 1981. Since then he has not looked back rising to the position of News producer/Director in Nigerian Television Authority.
He furthered his career by joining Bank of the North Ltd (BON) as Public relations officer in 1991 and left as principal manager in 2001 after working in several capacities including Head of Operations and Branch Manager.
He served as commissioner in various ministries in Nasarawa state between 2001 and 2009 among which are Works, Finance, Housing, Environment and town planning, Land, survey and Town planning.
He was appointed chairman, committee on Public Private Partnership (PPP) between February 2009 and April 2009.
He was executive Director (Loans Production) at federal mortgage Bank of Nigeria between April 2009 and September 2010.
Over his career years, he attended several courses home and overseas. Some of them include; Housing finance in changing environment at Wharton Business School, USA, Total Quality Management for top level management at BON Ltd. just to mention a few.
He has held several other responsibilities which include; chairman, Abuja council of Nigerian union of journalists (1986-1988), member, committee on the Bank of the North's first annual seminar (1992); Editor, Bonews (1989-1993), Chairman, Board of Directors, Nasarawa publishing company ltd. (2000-2001), Lafia, and Board Member, Nigeria Railway Corporation (2013-2015) to mention a few.

He started his banking career in 1992 with Intercity Bank Plc., now Unity Bank Plc. He had his first degree B.Sc. Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and later went to Ondo State University, Akungba where he obtained an MBA (Management) in 2005. He further attended Bayero University Kano were he obtained a Master of Treasury Management (MTM) in 2008.
He has diverse experience in Banking Operations, Audit, Marketing and Recovery. He was head of operations and customer service manager at NUB international Bank Ltd now FinBank Plc and Later First City Monument Bank Plc respectively.
He was also regional head of Internal Control, resident at Jos controlling 14 branches and two cash centres. He later became Branch Manager at FCMB Plc Minna and Obajana branches respectively. He moved to Bank PHB Plc, where he was head of Business Banking and also deputizing for the Branch Manager. His experience in microfinance cuts across three Banks ending at Fortis MFB in 2018, where he was head of Credit and Branch manager respectively.
He has received trainings from Customer Service Institute of America, UNDP, and GIZ among others.
He is also a member of many associations among which are Chartered institute of Economists (CIE), Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIBN) and Portfolio and Debt Management Institute of Nigeria. His areas of interests include Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Team work, Microfinance, Sales and Marketing and Customer Service.
