I received my PhD in physics from Columbia University in 2015. As a graduate student, I was a researcher and commissioner at the LIGO Hanford Observatory, where I was responsible for getting the detector operational for the first time. Shortly thereafter, we made the first direct detection of gravitational waves, which ultimately won the founders a Nobel Prize. Following my graduate work, I was a Software Test Engineer at a drone start-up called Airware and later joined a quantum computing start-up called Rigetti. At Rigetti, I held various other positions including Quantum Engineer, Deployment Lead, and Technical Lead/Program Manager. I'm currently a Product Manager at financial tech startup launch a new product.
