Atlas Design Services (Atlas) was founded in January 2007 with an ownership change in 2015 when Jonathan Thompson became majority owner. In 2021 Mr. Tommy McClung joined Atlas as Vice President in charge of Technology and Business Development. Atlas has continued our growth with the addition of Ms. Jennifer Paisley, P.E. in 2022 as Vice President in charge of Land Development. Atlas' leadership team now provides more than 90 years of engineering and construction experience in the Austin and Central Texas region... Our services are built on purpose driven design that is supported by traditional Civil Engineering principles. Atlas certifications and resources include Licensed Professional Civil Engineers in Texas, as well as ATSSA certified Traffic Control Design Specialists and LEED Accredited Professionals. Atlas Design Services is certified by the City of Austin as a Hispanic Owned Business, and by the State of Texas as a HUB firm with pending certifications in the city of Houston..
