Bay2Gulf is locally owned and operated by John Barkett, an established real estate professional with more than three decades of experience, with the past 20 years serving the Greater Tampa Bay area. As a fellow property owner and investor, John embodies our core values to manage and treat our clients' properties like our own. He empowers the B2G team to assist our clients in on- and off-market acquisition, redevelopment (sometimes via, adaptive reuse), leasing and management of their commercial real estate.
John holds an M.S. in Real Estate Valuation and Analysis from New York University and began his career as a commercial appraiser in New York City. He is a Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI), a Florida State Certified General Appraiser as well as a Florida State Licensed Real Estate Broker. He serves his clients by leveraging his analytical mindset, his local market knowledge, and his civic responsibility as an active community leader, where he is committed to local organizations shaping Tampa Bay's economic future.
As our Office Manager, Linda will probably be the welcoming, helpful voice you'll hear when you give us a ring. She's responsible for expertly fielding our client requests, oversees team support and ensures our office runs smoothly. Unofficially, she's our office cheerleader and quartback.
Linda previously held similar roles at the Greater St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and St. Pete Beach Chamber of Commerce. Outside of the office, Linda is actively engaged in community organizations like Keep St. Pete Local and Pet Pal and enjoys an active lifestlyle of physical fitness and paddleboarding.
As our Executive Assistant, Lisa is a vital resource and is always available to help out the team. She is a longtime Floridian and recently moved back to the St. Petersburg area after three decades in the Spring Hill area. Outside of the office, Lisa is the proud mother of a son serving active duty stationed at MacDill Air Force Base, is a doting grandmother, and is an owner of a certified Emotional Support dog named Scruffy.

Paul Barkett has recently joined Barkett Realty as Director of Property Management after having been semi-retired from a 43-year career with Collins Aerospace, Div. United Technologies Co. He holds a BBA and an LLB, both from Western New England University and their School of Law. His Aerospace career was concentrated in Supply Chain Management and Operations, which has provided him with a unique set of skills and insights that allow him to fully understand the meaning of genuine customer satisfaction. He has coached and mentored small as well as large business ownership in the areas of leadership, employee and customer satisfaction, as well as supply chain and operations management.
In his role as property manager, he will fully utilize his knowledge, skills and experience toward ensuring a positive environment and experience for both tenants and property owners.
