BEFORE & AFTER DESIGNS

​In 2000, newly-married and a 1st time homeowner, I fell in love with the TLC home makeover show, Trading Spaces. From there, my love of design and decorating was born...decorating and redecorating rooms in my own homes, decorating rooms and choosing colors for friends and family, staging my own homes for sale (one getting an offer in 7 days!), and completely updating our 2nd home, a 1970s quad-level. One thing was clear - design energized me! Since then, it's been my hobby. My 'real' jobs throughout the years have been spent in Corporate America - first in a Big 4 public accounting firm, then a premier financial services firm in Chicago, then after time off to earn my MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business 10 years with a local Fortune 500 company, and, most recently, a local family-run, privately held manufacturer. Somewhere in there, my husband, Tony, and I started a family. We are the proud parents of 2 amazing boys - now ages 17 & 12 (11 and 6 when I started..
