Aaron Davies - COO

Aaron Davies grew up in the glazing industry, learning the trade early on from his father, Darand Davies. He unofficially began his glazing career long before he could even drive a car. Once official, Aaron became a residential installer. From there, he transitioned into a commercial glazier, foreman, general superintendent, and finally, project manager. Aaron joined the Black Line Glazing team in late 2019 as chief operations officer and partner. He manages all aspects of labor and oversees the project management team.

Caleb Krussow

Job Titles:
  • Regional / Superintendent
Caleb Krussow started in the glazing industry as a temporary hire in 2013. With hard work and determination, he was later offered a full-time position as a laborer, working under some of the best in the industry. Over the years, Caleb has worked as a laborer, journeyman, lead, and foreman, always striving to be the best team member and leader he can be. Now, Caleb is responsible for carrying out Black Line Glazing's values in the Southern Oregon/Northern California market.

Darand Davies

Darand Davies began working in the glass business in 1985 on the glass cutting table, eventually working his way into sales and estimating. In 1991, Darand pursued his dreams of running his own shop and purchased Dallas Glass. While there, the small company grew into a major glazing subcontractor, doing landmark projects in the mid-Willamette Valley and beyond. In 2019, Darand left his former company to start Black Line Glazing with some key employees and partners. In his over 35 years in the glass industry, he has seen significant changes and advances in glazing. Darand is the chief executive officer and senior estimator for Black Line Glazing. His goal has always been to build a company on the principles of Philippians 2:3-4 in all aspects of doing business and life. When he's not at work, Darand loves big game hunting; waterfowl hunting; traveling with his wife, Debbie; and working side by side with three of his sons.

Elaine Johnson

  • Financial Controller
Elaine Johnson graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in accounting and a Master's Degree in business administration in 2010. She worked as an accounting supervisor for an automatic door manufacturer until she moved to the Salem area in 2012, where she continued working in accounting for a glazing subcontractor and transitioned to the financial controller position in 2019. She joined Black Line Glazing as a financial controller in April of 2021. When she's away from her desk, Elaine enjoys spending time with her husband and three dogs, taking road trips, camping, reading, and pursuing various artistic hobbies.

Jeff Toth

Job Titles:
  • Regional Superintendent
Jeff Toth Got his start in the glazing industry in 1998 as an apprentice. After reaching Journeyman status he quickly progressed and was running projects by 2006. In 2019 Jeff joined Black Line Glazing as our first Superintendent. In addition to his years of experience in the field, Jeff spent 5 years managing a fabrication shop. Away from work Jeff enjoys playing drums, surfing, and spending time with his family.

Kraig Goode

Kraig Goode started in the glazing industry in 2002 as a part-time employee in a fabrication shop. After completing college in 2006, Kraig quickly worked his way up to fabrication manager and project engineer. He has worked with all aspects of commercial glazing, including estimating, ordering, shop drawings, fabrication, and installation. Fun fact: Kraig was the first employee of Black Line Glazing when it began operations in 2019.

Matt Cannon

Matt Cannon started his career in the glazing industry in early 2010 as a drafter and field laborer. Having grown up in the construction industry, he quickly took to the technical aspects of the business. Matt has worked in various positions throughout the years, garnering a working understanding of multiple aspects of the trade. He joined Black Line Glazing in the Summer of 2019 as a project manager and continues to learn about different aspects of glass and glazing. When he's away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and woodworking.

Matt Halleman

Job Titles:
  • Estimator
Matt Halleman started in the glazing industry in 1997 as a shop/delivery kid and worked his way up through the ranks, eventually moving out of the field and into the office. Matt's background work in installation and fabrication has served him well in his current role as an estimator, giving him the ability to look at projects from multiple viewpoints. In his spare time, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and camping.

Michael Steffen

Job Titles:
  • Fabrication Manager
Michael Steffen entered the glazing industry as one of Black Line's first employees, covering fabrication, shipping/receiving, and installations. He brought with him 19 years of mechanical and industrial installation experience. As Black Line grows, he has been active in all aspects. Michael has had the satisfaction of seeing the shop grow and has helped develop his valued fellow employees into their roles around him as he now leads the fabrication shop. After-hours, he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, three sons, extended family, and friends; staying active in the local church; and hanging out outdoors. Michael also looks forward to activities in his own shop at home, teaching his children how to use their gifts the same way his father was able to do so for him on the farm he was raised on.

Patrick McConville - CFO

Patrick McConville received a degree in business economics in 2007 from the University of Oregon. He got his start in the glazing industry in late 2009 as an assistant manager. Patrick transitioned into a financial controller position after furthering his education in financial accounting and was eventually promoted into the role of CFO, holding that position for many years before starting Black Line Glazing in 2019 with Darand Davies. When he's away from his desk, Patrick enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and three daughters. He also loves all things Central Oregon and getting outside as much as possible in the summer months here in the Willamette Valley. His passions are boating and watersports, vacationing with his family, and contributing to work in a meaningful way.

Patrick Rendich

Patrick Rendich began in the glazing industry in 2015 with Walters and Wolf Glass as a production worker/shipping and receiving. He worked his way up through the ranks, motivated by continuous improvement and bettering daily processes. About 1 1/2 years later, the plant manager offered to help him move into the office as a PM in SPD (special projects division). He trained for that role and has continued expanding his knowledge of the glazing industry ever since. In 2020, Patrick and his family moved to Oregon, where they enjoy spending time together.

Raymond Welty

Raymond Welty began his career in the glazing industry in early 2010, starting in the fabrication shop and quickly moving to fabrication manager. From there, Raymond worked his way up through the industry in various job positions, including installer, service manager, and estimator. He joined Black Line Glazing in the summer of 2020 as a project engineer. In his off-hours, Raymond enjoys camping, archery hunting, and riding ATVs with his wife and four boys.

Tiffany Fuller

Tiffany Fuller started in the glazing industry in 2018 as the operations manager of River City Glass in Grants Pass. She transitioned to Black Line Glazing as a project coordinator in January 2021 with the acquisition of River City Glass. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and six children.

Tim Schilling

Tim Schilling began working in custom home building in 1999 for a family-run general construction business. In 2011, he joined the glazing industry, teaming up with Aaron as a residential installer. After several years, Tim transitioned into a commercial glazier, foreman, and later, a superintendent. Tim joined the Black Line Glazing team in July 2020 as the Central Willamette superintendent. He is dedicated to building thriving relationships with the local general contractors and helps us live up to our title as a one-stop glazing company. Tim specializes in curtain wall, storefront, and glass handrail installation. When he's not at work, he enjoys being with his wife and five children, hiking, and completing home projects. If he's not with his family, he's hunting with his brothers.
