Namibie Boere Harklop, the entity administering Namibie Boere Droogtehulp, was born in 2015 when founder, Wilfred Weise became aware of the desperate condition of the wild horses near Aus... We managed to raise N$450,000 towards the plight of the horses. These funds were used to purchase horse fodder at Feedmaster and distributed by our team. Soon after we started, other people noticed our efforts and joined in - making a real difference... The year 2018 was rather quiet, and funds merely trickled in. We realized in the rainy season of November and December 2018 that another drought is upon us, so we started raising funds again. At the time, with only N$400 in our account, we managed to secure a wonderful donation of 100 bags of Lucerne pellets from Feedmaster, which we distributed.
