Adebola Agunbiade - CEO, Managing Director

Debola Agunbiade is an Economist, Chartered Accountant, Risk Manager and Financial Advisor, with over 22 years working experience in various aspects of accounting, finance, leasing, risk and asset management. She is the Founder/Managing Director/CEO of CandourCrest, a Company she set up in 2019 and has grown significantly over the years. Prior to setting up CandourCrest. She was the Chief Executive Officer of CFS Financial Services Limited. She held this position for over four years, having had prior acting appointment in the same role for five months, and dedicated a total of 14 years of service to CFS Financial Services (Formerly Citicorp Financial Services). She was, until her appointment as Chief Executive Officer of CFS Financial Services, responsible for setting up key structures in pioneer roles that formed the bedrock of CFS Financial Services, thereby making it one of the most respected financial services companies in Nigeria. She occupied roles that included: Head of Finance and Accounts; Head of Internal Audit; Head of Risk & Asset Management; amongst other roles. Debola, who hails from Epe in Lagos State, had her first degree in Economics from Lagos State University, and a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos State. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), a professional specialist member of the Institute of Risk Management of the United Kingdom, a member of the Institute of Directors of Nigeria (IOD), a member of the Equipment Leasing Association of Nigeria (ELAN), as well as being an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketers of Nigeria. She is an alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School, where she participated in the institution's Chief Executives Programme and a member of the Institute of Directors. She is currently running an MSc programme in Finance and Investment in University of Salford (United Kingdom) Debola was, prior to her employment with CFS Financial Services, the Accountant at Sigma Petroleum, a company in the downstream sector of the oil and gas industry. She was the first non-founding employee to be unanimously appointed as a Director and approved as a shareholder at CFS Financial Services, in which capacity, she championed the recovery of many non-performing accounts and provided risk-mitigating strategies to reduce risk and loss for the Company, at times of necessity. Debola is a devout Christian married to Kolawole Agunbiade, and they are blessed with three children.

She was the first female President of the Finance House Association of Nigeria, the umbrella body of all finance houses, and an advocacy organisation, which witnessed revival and vibrancy under her leadership. She is a member of the Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) and Women in Finance Nigeria (WIFNG), non-profit organisations focused on increasing, developing and supporting the success rates of female entrepreneurs, and the proportion of women in senior positions in corporate organisations and the public service. She is currently mentoring girls and women by developing and supporting them on how to reach the top of their career and businesses. As a result of her background, she has the passion of creating an impact by helping other businesses and individuals to succeed through the provision of financial support, sharing of knowledge, skills and experiences acquired over the years as well as educating individuals and businesses (MSME's) on Personal and Business Finance. She has spoken at various seminars and conferences on these topics and several others. She is also mentoring girls and women.

Oluwatoyin Adeogun

Oluwatoyin has her degree in philosophy from University of Lagos 2010. Oluwatoyin started her career with Fedex, an international logistics company immediately after she graduated in 2010 as a sales representative. Being a target driven person, she is always trusted to handle various centers in Lagos and also trained both new employees and Fedex agents across Nigeria and outside the country. Oluwatoyin discovered a product where she makes delivery for online vendors at a reduced rate. This increased her revenue greatly after which a subsidiary was created by the company. She rose from a retail sales representative to retail sales Executive before she resigned in 2020 after 10 years with the company. Oluwatoyin joined CandourCrest in 2022 as Head Human Resources and Admin department.

Samuel Akoh

Samuel Akoh is CandourCrest's officer, leading the risk and asset management operations of the Company. With the Company now at an important transformational stage, his goal is to build a robust system that allows for a sustainable and predictable performance. He is a young and vibrant fellow with experience in internal control, audit and credit risk assessment which spans over 5 years in roles that involve formulation of audit policies, adherence to internal control policies, credit risk mitigation and risk management and oversight. Samuel has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting Education, a Master's degree and various leadership certifications.

Seun holds a first degree in Mass Communication from Babcock University and a masters in Risk Management from University of Lagos. Seun started her career with First City Monument Bank where she won the best Direct Sales Agent in 2013 at the Victoria Island Branch. She then joined Seed Capital Microfinance Bank where she served in various capacities as a Relationship officer, Credit Analyst and Risk Management Officer. Prior to joining CCA, Seun was the Business Development Executive at CFS Financial Services Limited.
