Dr. Chad Andrews

Dr. Chad Andrews received his D.V.M. from the Ohio State University in 2005. He completed a rotating internship at the University of Georgia and a surgical internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston, TX. Dr. Andrews completed his residency at the University of Tennessee in 2010. He then stayed on as an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, were he led the Total Hip Replacement Program and mentored residents in the art of arthroscopy, as well as a multitude of other procedures. He obtained his board certification with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in March of 2012. Dr. Andrews has been involved with various surgical teaching labs that provide continuing education credits needed by surgeons and general practitioners.

Dr. Daniela Carbone

Dr. Daniela Carbone knew she wanted to be a veterinarian at the age of five years old. She graduated from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor in Science degree in 2005 and then went on to earn a Master of Science degree from the University of New Haven in Nutrition in 2007. She graduated from St. Matthew's University with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and completed her veterinary clinical rotation training at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana in 2011. Following graduation, she stayed in the midwest and practiced small animal medicine and surgery in Danville, Illinois for two years. In 2013 Dr. Carbone moved back to New York and worked as an emergency, associate and relief veterinarian in Dutchess, Putnam, Orange and Westchester counties for several years. Dr. Carbone's interests include alternative therapies such as nutraceuticals, preventative, urgent care and geriatric medicine. When not at work, Dr. Carbone loves spending time with her husband, family and friends and her toy poodle Annabelle. She enjoys skiing, hiking, exercising and traveling. Her goal is to provide our patients with advanced veterinary care. Dr. Carbone stays current with new knowledge and techniques through continuing education seminars and training sessions. These training sessions allow her to practice new veterinary procedures, products, and preventive health care measures available to your pet. Dr. Carbone is also fluent in Italian.

Dr. Janis McGill

Dr. Janis grew up in Northwest Pennsylvania. She earned her bachelors degree in biology and animal science from the University of Findlay. She received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. While in school she was involved in epidemiological and environmental research. She was an active member of the Women's Veterinary Leadership Development Initiative and involved in community outreach and engagement. Dr. Janis has an interest in pathology, and preventative medicine. Dr. Janis came to the area to experience everything the beautiful Hudson Valley has to offer. She loves to hike, bike, kayak, be involved in her community, and relax at home with her two cats George, and Ginny. Since Dr. Janis has a wide array of interests, and background with many species, she cares for cats, dogs, exotics, livestock, and horses. She is excited to be a member of the Catskill Veterinary Services mixed animal team!

Dr. Joseph D'Abbraccio

Dr. Joseph D'Abbraccio grew up in Sullivan County, New York and is a graduate of Monticello High School. Following graduation Dr. Joe attended the State University of New York at Delhi where he earned a degree in Veterinary Science Technology. Dr. Joe attended veterinary school at St. Matthew's University School of Veterinary Medicine, located in the Cayman Islands, BWI. While attending St. Matthew's University, Dr. Joe was very active in a number of student organizations, particularly the Emergency and Critical Care Society. Given his strong interest and achievements Dr. Joe was awarded the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society Clinical Proficiency Award, an international achievement. Due to his strong involvement level and high ranked veterinary studies Dr. Joe was awarded the Dean's Award from St. Matthew's University. Following his pre-clinical training Dr. Joe finished his final year of veterinary school at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. Dr. Joe's interests include emergency and critical care, surgery as well as cardiovascular disease in all species. Given Dr. Joe's wide interests he is happy to care for dogs, cats, exotics, horses, and all livestock. Dr. Joe also provides a wide range of canine reproduction consultations at Catskill Veterinary Services.

Dr. Lindsey Green

Dr. Lindsey Green always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. She grew up on a small beef farm in the town of Fredon, New Jersey. During her childhood, she enjoyed being part of a community, and was inspired by the role that veterinarians played in keeping animals safe and healthy. After high school, she pursued a degree in animal science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she learned about production animals including cattle and small ruminants. She graduated in in 2018, and earned her bachelor's degree in animal science. She then went on to graduate from veterinary school from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. While in veterinary school, she had interests in equine medicine, internal medicine, and clinical pathology. She was a member of the production medicine club and the American Association of Equine Practitioners. She also enjoyed working with dogs and cats during veterinary school, and is eager to work with a wide array of species with the Catskill Veterinary Services. In her free time, Dr. Lindsey enjoys hiking and spending time with her family. She has one mixed breed dog named Riley, who she adopted after her first year of veterinary school.

Dr. Sarah Wright

Dr. Sarah grew up in the Finger Lakes region of New York. She earned her bachelor's degree in animal science with minors in infectious disease biology, microbial science, and biomedical science from Cornell University College of Agriculture and Life Science. She then stayed at Cornell for her veterinary education. While in school, she was actively involved in community outreach through the Southside Healthy Pet Clinic and the shelter medicine service. Dr. Sarah has special interests in behavioral and reproductive medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Sarah enjoys hiking with her cat, Lucy Fur, kayaking, and cooking. She has worked extensively with sheep and horses, however, she enjoys working with all species and is thrilled to be joining the Catskill Veterinary Services team as a mixed animal clinician.
