Awarded first place in the 2012 Collegiate String Division at the National Music Teachers National Association competition in New York City, Caroline Cox Turek has performed throughout the United States and Europe as a soloist, orchestral musician, and chamber musician. As a student of Ara Gregorian, Caroline won the East Carolina University concerto competition in her freshman year; in her junior year, she won both the Durham Symphony Orchestra and Raleigh Symphony Orchestra concerto competitions. Caroline was selected as a finalist to compete in the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Competition in Houston, Texas and in 2015, she won the Manhattan School of Music Classical Concerto Competition. Caroline was also the first place winner in the 2014 Duxbury Music Festival Solo Competition, and recently, as a soloist, she performed Vivaldi's Four Seasons with Maestro Nicholas Palmer and the EUS orchestra in Hingham, Massachusetts...
