West Chilcotin Forest Products focuses on sustainable business partnerships while working closely with the Ulkatcho First Nation and community members to preserve the interests of all groups... For over 30 years the Ulkatcho People have been building the sustainable economic development of its lands. As part of their development, Ulkatcho First Nations became the sole holder of West Chilcotin Forest Products (WCFP) in 2012. Being a 100% indigenous company, the Ulkatcho People are continuing their history of being the stewards of the land, focusing on economic sustainability, land preservation, and the preservation of cultural values and archaeological sites.
