CLAYRIDGE PRIMARY SCHOOL

Clayride Primary School was established in 1979 by the Department of Education. We are a public, English-medium school operating in a co-eductional environment. The school is nestled within the Clayfield community in Phoenix (north of Durban). Our doors are open to a wide array of learners across diverse socio-economic strata - serving learners from Phoenix, Inanda, Ntuzuma, and KwaMashu. Today, this vibrant school has an enrolment of approximately 485 learners. The student body is culturally diverse. We serve learners from Grades R-7 (ages 5 to 13)... As we are a public school, we adhere to the national curriculum developed by the Department of Education... Our expert Foundation Phase educators each teach an array of learning areas. They typically deal with learners aged 5 - 9 years old.
