Dr. David Rodriguez

Dr. Rodriguez serves as the medical director for Dermatology Associates & Research. He's also an associate professor in the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami, as well as a staff physician at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami. As a certified clinical trial investigator, he has been an active participant in over 100 clinical trials. His research interests have focused on tinea pedis infections, acne, psoriasis, rosacea, and atopic dermatitis, to name a few. Because of his expertise in the field of dermatology, Dr. Rodriguez is an invited speaker at teaching conferences and seminars across the country and world. He has presented in the World Congress of Dermatology and in the American Academy of Dermatology annual conference. In addition, Dr. Rodriguez has been featured as a skin expert in local Univision television programs, a national NBC television special, "America's Ethnic Skin: An Al Roker Health Special", and quoted in numerous dermatological magazines and the New York Times. Dr. Rodriguez maintains professional affiliations with the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery, among others. Patients of Dr. Rodriguez benefit from his extensive knowledge of dermatological conditions and his ability to focus on individualized skin problems of the patient.
