EarlySight is a Swiss startup company based in Geneva that aims at revolutionizing care of diseases affecting the eye. The company was founded in 2019 as a spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). The co-founders are two engineers: Timothé Laforest, PhD and Mathieu Kunzi, and two professors: Francine Behar-Cohen, MD, PhD and Christophe Moser, PhD. They have developed an imaging tool able to see the eye fundus at microscopic level and measure its biological structure.
