Clara has a lengthy recruitment background in the hospitality sector, and also worked for the Department for Work & Pensions helping those who lost their jobs during the pandemic to get back into work. So, it's safe to say she has a passion for recruitment! She is now covering sales across the Midwest with plenty of her time naturally being spent on Ohio where there's a real need. In her free time, Clara plays the flute and saxophone in different bands - catch her gigging at the weekend!

Dan ventured into the world of recruitment in 2022, after more than five years in various commercial positions within the FMCG sector. Dan recently became a father, and loves spending time with his daughter and taking the dog on long walks. Unfortunately, this means his hobby of going to the gym has taken a back seat! Although he does still play for his local football team most weeks. Dan is usually the first in the office so he has control of the office music for the day (with his taste being pre-90's)!
Danny has been with Freight Appointments since it's inception and is one of two Directors with a big vision. Before becoming involved in recruitment, Danny worked in eCommerce in a role that involved developing partnerships with overseas suppliers and logistics companies. During his spare time he enjoys watching football (soccer!), playing pool, and watching the NBA. Drinks too much coffee and loves his lob wedge.

Elliot comes to Freight Appointments already with recruitment experience and quickly made an impact on the West Coast market. A big fan of the San Antonio Spurs and an even bigger fan of his mom's roast dinners, he loves competition and is always looking to be the busiest recruiter in the office.

Emily joined Freight Appointments with a head start after gaining around a years worth of experience in logistics staffing. She's built her niche in the domestic market placing sales candidates mostly across the Midwest & Canada and already has a great name in the industry. She likes fashion, winter, walking and talking. She's VERY good at talking!

Usually found wearing full corduroy, sandals and socks, Harry has a character that brings something a little different to the business. With a background in sales, marketing and property management, he's a natural with the full recruitment process. Hobbies include golf, chess, reading, cars and being fine with not having many hobbies.

Jack Joyce comes to Freight Appointments with a background in freight forwarding recruitment. When not in the office, Jack enjoys playing most sports (with a particular interest in padel and hockey), cooking, and reading sci-fi books. He also spends his time participating in tactical games such as chess, snooker, and poker. This strategic thinking gives Jack the edge when talking to candidates and clients! Not a fan of jazz music, he'll often spend his weekends taking long walks and camping in the countryside.

Jack 'Mr. Nice Guy' Webb brings a big smile to the team and is another with logistics in the blood. With his dad holding an Export Manager position for 20+ years, his enthusiasm to be involved in the freight forwarding industry is infectious. Outside of the office, Jack previously competed at a high level in track cycling and also plays American football on the same team as our own Tom Benfield. Quicker than Tom, less grippy hands.

Lewis was involved in logistics for five years before tumbling into the world of recruitment almost 10 years ago initially in software & IT. Having managed a number of freight forwarding recruitment teams, he decided it was time to establish his own freight forwarding staffing business. Lewis spends his spare time volunteering as lifeboat crew, playing golf, or on one of his many bikes. Loves good coffee, arguably the best golfer in the business.

Lewis has a passion for travelling and playing sports, particularly golf (apart from in the winter) - the two Lewis' are now battling for top golfer in the office. After studying economics & business at college, he spent some years in freight forwarding recruitment prior to joining Freight Appointments, so has a wealth of experience. Lewis also enjoys spending his time watching rugby and playing snooker.

Lucie was born and raised near Strasbourg, before moving to Montpellier, spending a total of 23 years in France. Having an extensive background in logistics & supply chain recruitment, Lucie is the ideal person to start the France market for Freight Appointments. She particularly likes attending gigs, discovering & cooking good food, and petting cats & dogs she comes across in the street (and in the office!). Lucie attends a weekly pottery class and has promised a nice fruit bowl for the office.

Mica is Freight Appointments' original Spanish speaker. Born in Argentina and raised in Spain, she couldn't be more well suited to some of the markets that we couldn't fully cover before. She quickly settled into the Miami market and has opened up a whole new service to freight forwarders in the area. During her free time Mica likes to spend time with her very spoiled dog (Keeva), camping with her family, and drinking tequila like most Latinos

The coldest person in the office, Paige is often seen wrapped in a puffer jacket at her desk, but has never once been heard complaining about anything. She likes food, music, sunbathing and shopping. She dislikes diet coke, wearing jeans, and when the office is too cold...

Coming from a successful background in marketing, Sam's resourceful and ambitious attitude has helped him feel at home in recruitment. Any time he's working on an open vacancy for a client, or helping a candidate put themselves in front of a few different companies, he's using his marketing skills. He's currently covering the West Coast sales & management market and brings a calm, process driven swagger to the team. His Dad is in the management team for a successful domestic trucking company that's now getting involved in the international shipping business with Tom's help to find good people. He enjoys playing American football and is a passionate Liverpool (soccer) fan. Considers himself Bryson DeChambeau.
