Brian Ross

Mr. Ross has spent the 7 years in various finance advisory positions and is co-founder of InfaShares, a leading crowdfunding platformed specializing in private-public infrastructure projects nationwide. Mr. Ross brings significance and unique experience to the board with an expertise in both finance and real estate development. Mr. Ross is a graduate of CalPoly with a BS in Construction Management, a graduate of Stanford University with a MSE in Construction Engineering, and has his MBA from Hass School of Business at UC Berkeley. Mr. Ross has a class A Contractors License, is LEED AP certified and possesses FINRA Series 65 (Investment Advisor) and MSRB Series 50 Municipal Financial Advisor certificates. Mr. Ross is a combat veteran serving as a platoon leader in Afghanistan and was awarded the Bronze Star.

Howard Camp

All of the funds physical developments will be under the charge of Howard Camp, Vice President of Development. Mr. Camp brings over 40 years of real estate development experience covering most every type of commercial and residential projects. Mr. Camp obtained his education at Toledo University and the University of Oklahoma, with further education with the U.S. Army Command & General Staff College in Civil Engineering, finance and Leadership. Mr. Camp is a 14-year combat veteran in the U.S Army. Mr. Camp has an impressive resume of general construction and real estate development including retail developments from 5,000 sq ft single tenant to more than 300,000 sq ft mixed use multi-tenant complex. Professional and medical office facilities from 2,500 sq ft to over 350,000 sq ft 18 story facilities. Mr. Camp has been involved in high end boutique condominiums to mid-range condominium developments in excess of 300 units. He has lead land developments ranging from 5-acre single use to 1,800-acre mixed use projects. He has experience in most any kind of real estate development including senior housing, manufacturing and warehousing ranging in size from 10,000 sq ft to over 500,000 sq ft. Mr. Camp has totaled over one billion dollars of successful real estate projects over the past 43 years.

Jim Schultz

Jim has over 30 years of investment experience and has been instrumental in starting and providing capital to companies throughout the country. Jim has a diverse background in venture capital and private equity, investment banking and other entrepreneurial ventures. He has been an active investor in a wide variety of industries, including: agriculture, life sciences, medical services and medical device technologies, semiconductor, software development, e-commerce, construction, financial services and information technology. Before founding Open Prairie, Jim was active in negotiating investment agreements in numerous equity and mezzanine financings for start-up and growth-stage companies in the Midwest. In 2015, Jim was appointed by the Governor of Illinois as Director of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. In career prior to private equity, Jim held executive level management positions and served as the Chairman of the Board of the Illinois State Chamber of Commerce and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago Small Business Advisory Council on Agriculture, Labor and Small Business. As Chairman of PrimeBanc, a rural-Illinois regional bank, Jim provided leadership that resulted in increasing the bank's assets from $40 million to $600 million. He currently represents Open Prairie as a member of the Board of Directors for Tillerman Seeds, Vestaron, Metactive Medical, and Flow Forward Medical. Jim is a graduate of the National Venture Capital Association Venture Capital Institute. He received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law. Jim graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis on entrepreneurship from Southern Methodist University. Larry Perkins - CEO, Chairman

Mr. Perkins graduated with a BS in Accounting from Millikin University, a highly acclaimed Midwest private university located in central Illinois. He spent his initial business years working in accounting with a national multimedia company, a regional CPA firm, and an international Fortune 50 company. When an opportunity arose to go into small business where he felt we could really make an impact on a business took it, becoming Vice President and Controller of nationwide electronics manufacturer. This is where he got his first real introduction to computers in the very early 80's installing an IBM system 34 (top line computer system back then) running MAPICs manufacturing software and automating the entire manufacturing process. In 1983, the multimedia company which he first worked had sold and the president of the company started a personal computer company and Mr. Perkins was approached to join this start up in a brand new and exciting industry. Mr. Perkins joined the company in late 1983 and by mid-1985 he became the owner. He then grew the company from 7 employees and $700,000 in sales to 60+ employees and over $20 Million dollar in sales in 6 years. In 1993, he sold his interest in the business and ventured out into new territory. That territory would be real estate. Mr. Perkins' primary expertise is in land recognition and "best use" planning and value positioning, as well as structured financing. Mr. Perkins has been involved in over a billion dollars of real estate development projects over the last 25 years throughout the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean.

Luke Pope

Luke has more than 13 years of experience advising clients in a wide spectrum of industries, with a heavy emphasis on assisting real estate businesses and their owners with tax planning, consulting and compliance. His real estate experience includes consulting related to New Market Tax Credits, Historic/Rehabilitation Tax Credits, Opportunity Zones, tax incentives and like-kind exchanges. Luke has a Bachelor's Degree for Administration in Accounting from McKendree University, as well as a Bachelor of Administration in Economics and Finance degree from McKendree University. Luke is a licensed Certified Public Accountant by the State of Missouri. Luke serves as a senior advisor to Gateway on financial forecasting, complex entity structures for real estate projects, and tax implications for opportunity zones.

Matt Drinen

O.C. Latta - President

Latta, President and general manager of the fund will be in-charge of all the daily functions of the fund. Mr. Latta has been involved in the real estate industry for over 40 years. He has served as construction manager for such companies as; Monsanto, General Mills and American Cyanamid and has worked on real estate projects in various capacities nationwide for Corrigan Company, Huxtable Hammond, Forrest Investment Corporation, and US Engineering. Mr. Latta is a licensed mortgage broker in the state of Missouri, and has experience in over 1000 real estate financial transactions.
