Our mission is to spread the Aloha spirit and bring you the taste of Hawaii by serving up Hawaiian and local dishes. What does the Aloha spirit mean to us? It means spreading the love and affection to others with no obligation in return. Abunai's mission is to have a purpose in bringing a positive impact for the community by providing accessible healthy and affordable foods and feeding our youth by offering children under 12 years old to eat free at the Abunai DC location. In addition to that, we want to continue to support our community by locally sourcing with farmers in Hawaii and the DMV area to protect our environment by sustainable sourcing... Our founder and CEO is a minority woman, part Japanese and Native Hawaiian, from Honolulu, Hawaii who moved to the east coast for college.
