On the way we visited Canyonlands National Park. We spent much of our time in CO with Ian, hanging out and going to his classes with him. We also visited the Air Force Museum. Ian highly recommended Garden of the Gods, so we went there with him and it looked like a slice of Utah in Colorado. Mom and Dad spent a lot more time in Ian's classes or in the prayer rooms and grottos than Jane and I did. We spent most of our time down at the pond, playing and watching the fish. Finally, on the last day, we found a hook and fishing line. We were able to fashion a fishing pole out of a stick, pine cone, and our findings. We didn't catch anything, but were still so excited. Mom really enjoyed the prayer room and dad spent a ton of time in the grottos, in fact, we would stay till 9:00 or 10:00, waiting for him to finish spending time in the prayer grottos. On the way back, we stayed at a lodge in Bryce Canyon. The snow on the ground made Bryce and the lodge look like a winter wonderland.
