LIKONI TRADERS SACCO LIMITED

Likoni Traders Sacco was founded in the year 2005 as a savings and credit co-operative society with the main objective of promoting thrift among members by offering them an opportunity to make their savings into a pool from which loans can be made to them at a fair and reasonable rate of interest. The society is fully registered by the commissioner for co-operative development under the co-operative societies act as A Savings And Credit Co-Operative Society Ltd (CS No. 10525). The membership of society comprises of traders residing in likoni Sub County and the entire Mombasa County at large. The society has also members from the working community who reside and work in Mombasa County. The society has had a very steady growth since its inception in terms of membership, share capital, member's deposits and asset base. Today Likoni Traders Sacco in the leading savings and credit co-operative in likoni sub-county and hope to maintain the pace.
