MABEL RAMIREZ

I began my culinary journey at a young age in Honduras. I grew up in a tight family unit in which the whole family- grandparents, uncles, cousins, close friends- would get together almost every Sunday for lunch. My grandma and dad would do the cooking most of the time, and I would always be the attentive helper, eager to learn, eager to taste! However, as I grew older, my passion for food took the backstage and only remained as a hobby. At age 16 I decided to pursue a career in Business Administration and worked as the General Manager of a Financial Outsourcing Company, nonetheless, a career in food was always in the back of my head.
