MINNEAPOLIS INSIGHT

Minneapolis Insight was originally founded by Alex Haley in 2012 as a weekly meditation group based in Northeast Minneapolis. Over the past decade, the original sitting group has grown into a non-profit organization and community that practices regularly together. Today we offer daylong/weekend retreats, class series, and the Weekly Meditation and Discussion continues to be the bedrock of our gatherings. Since 2020, our offerings are held online via Zoom and we regularly have participants join from across the country... We come together to practice Insight Meditation in a community centered way. We emphasize the teachings of Early Buddhism as they spread to the West through organizations like Insight Meditation Society, Spirit Rock Meditation Center, and Dharma Ground...
