Attorney Joseph Alain Moro is the founder and managing attorney of Moro Legal, LLC, a law office dedicated exclusively to the practice of U.S. immigration law. As the son and husband of immigrants to the United States, Attorney Moro understands the challenges that people face while going through the immigration process. Mr. Moro focuses his practice on family visas, employment visas, permanent residence/green cards, consular processing, and U.S. citizenship. Joseph is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. Mr. Moro is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He is admitted to practice law by the state bars of Colorado and New Mexico, as well as all U.S. Immigration Courts, all U.S. Consulates and Embassies, the Executive Office of Immigration Review, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the USCIS Administrative Appeals Office, the Board of Immigration Appeals, U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. Court of International Trade. Joseph Moro is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he practiced as a student attorney with the Transnational Legal Clinic assisting with humanitarian immigration and migrant farmworker rights cases, completed coursework in Immigration Law and International Law, and served as Senior Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Law and Social Change. He wrote his law school thesis on immigration law and the judicial review of naturalization denials. Attorney Moro also earned a Wharton Certificate in Management for business studies. Mr. Moro earned his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish literature at Georgia State University, where he graduated with highest honors (summa cum laude) and completed a study abroad program in Italian studies at the Università degli Studi di Perugia in Italy. Attorney Moro is a member of the Immigration Law Section and the Spanish Speaking Lawyers Committee of the Colorado Bar Association. Prior to founding Moro Legal, LLC, Mr. Moro practiced as a litigator for a national law firm and served the State of Colorado as a trial attorney, appellate counsel, and Deputy State Public Defender.
