Lili Selden, PhD, grew up bilingual and bicultural, was educated in both Japan and the United States throughout her childhood, and has a PhD in Japanese literature (University of Michigan, 2001). She is a freelance translator and interpreter with extensive teaching experience in Japanese language and culture, not only in academic settings but in the private and federal sectors.
