Dr Hena Ali

Dr Hena Ali is a design innovator, communication designer, researcher and educator with over ten years of teaching and research experience in higher educational institutions both in Pakistan and UK. She has successfully complemented that with her own design practice. Her area of expertise is 'Communication Design for Sustainable Social/Corporate Innovation'. Using design thinking her practice specifically allows organisations tangible evidence of the potential of effective communication, design thinking, user centered approach and collaboration to enhance performance and bring long term impact. Her design philosophy focuses sustainability as the most significant factor for innovation initiatives. She is currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at the Westminster School of Media, Arts and Design at the University of Westminster UK. Dr Ali is the first PhD graduate in Communication Design in Pakistan and was also the first Pakistani PhD graduate in the history of Central Saint Martins at the University of Arts London.

Dr Ramsha Mushtaq Khan

Dr. Ramsha Mushtaq Khan, is a dedicated public health professional with regular appointment as a Public Service Officer at the Healthcare Department of Punjab, Pakistan. With expansive 5 years of hands-on experience managing community health programs, she is devoted to advancing health and gender equity and social justice. She serves the role of a Youth Ambassador for the World Summit Awards (WSA) focused on health innovations and digital empowerment to further UN SDGs. She is MBBS from Quaid-e-Azam Medical College and pursuing Post-Graduation in Community and Preventive Medicine from King Edward Medical University, Lahore.

DR ROOMI AZIZ

Dr Roomi Aziz is a public health professional with rich experience in designing data and communication products for multidisciplinary stakeholders and forums. She has over twelve years of progressive experience in project/programme design and management, research, evaluation, data visualisation, and presentation and communication design assignments in health in both public and private sector. At P2i she brings her expertise of systems thinking for communication and data products' design for human development. She has an MBA from Lahore University of Management Sciences and an MBBS from University of Health Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan.

Dr Shabana Haider

Dr Shabana Haider has served as Member Health, Population and Nutrition for the Planning and Development Department, Government of Punjab and managed portfolios of more than 300 projects with an overall value of over $600 Million. She was member of the Chief Minister's Reform Team and worked at senior leadership level in all facets of health; policy, planning, communications, project management, and trainings. She served as the provincial focal point for coordination with all development partners and International NGOs and designed programs for major stakeholders. Under her leadership several key health reforms were conceptualized and rolled out. With nearly ten years of experience in public sector to her credit, Dr Shabana a has unparallel understanding of the unique challenges confronting the health sector of Punjab, Pakistan. Her passion and technical acumen benefitted the Department of Health towards launching the Non-Communicable Disease Program, Punjab Public Health Agency initiative, Punjab Population Initiative Foundation, Chief Minister's Stunting Program amongst the several. She steered multidisciplinary teams of technocrats for these initiatives and was member of several Provincial Task Forces. She is a graduate of Fatima Jinnah Medical University and has done her Masters in Public Policy & Governance and a certification in HRH from Harvard School of Public Health.

Dr Shabnum Sarfraz

Dr Shabnum Sarfraz is a health systems and management professional with 15+ years' senior leadership experience of managing large scale and high impact public health project portfolios, ranging up to $75M, leading multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural teams and coordinating with subject matter experts both regionally and internationally. She was uniquely positioned to serve as Technical Advisor at highest policy level for health systems and policy research with the provincial and federal government in her last role. At P2i she brings her expertise and experience in developing evidence-based policy design at state-level. She has an MBA from University of Surrey, UK and an MBBS from Quaid-e-Azam University, Pakistan. She is currently serving as Member Social Sector at Planning Commission, Pakistan. Her portfolio includes Health, Education, Social Welfare, Population Welfare, Nutrition and Sustainable Development Goals.

Dr Tasleem Akhtar

Dr Tasleem Akhtar is a health professional with 25 years' experience of serving in leadership position in research organizations. She has formerly served as Executive Director Pakistan Medical Research Council and member WHO EMRO Advisory Committee on Health Research (1996-2007). In recognition of her outstanding contributions in the field of health systems and research, she received several awards including the President of Pakistan Tamgha-e- Imtiaz, 2012; Professor Emeritus status award at Khyber Medical University, 2012; Al-Shifa Trust Pakistan Life Patron Nomination for establishing a Research Centre; American Public Health Association Award for out-standing International Collaboration-1997. She has been the driving force behind several collaborative projects with international agencies including the Council on Health Research for Development (COHRED), Global Forum for Health Research, Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research, WHO Geneva and EMRO RPC offices, Heidelberg University, Germany, Department of International Health and Johns Hopkins University, USA.

Dr. Mohammad Qaseem

Dr. Mohammad Qaseem is a Veterinary Health Professional with 32 years' experience of serving in Public sector (Livestock and Dairy Development Department Punjab) in the field of Animal Health. He has served Planning and Evaluation officer with GIZ Project in Pakistan, and also as Deputy Director Planning, Director Livestock with the Government of Punjab. He served as advisor to the Shahid Javed Burki Institute of Public Policy. He made a valuable contribution in the public sector by his pioneering work on introducing state of the art ICT based system of 9211 which captures livestock farmers, livestock and performance of the service provides in the field through a digital monitoring and evaluation tool. After reviewing similar models in Japan and Korea, Dr Qaseem has updated the ICT based extension models of 9211 for the Livestock and Dairy Development Department Punjab. The model is currently being adapted for other provinces of the country.

Javeria Suhail
