While Primo Tool Company, Inc is a new and innovative company, its heritage in the tool industry is both long and broad. One of the founders, Rich Maggio, literally grew up in the tool manufacturing company. His grandfather founded Superior Featherweight Tools in 1944 in Los Angeles, CA. Rich started working on the factory floor while still in school. Eventually, he took over the sales management and sourcing responsibility for the entire company. Superior Featherweight ultimately grew to be one of the most recognized and valued brands for tile, masonry, cement and drywall tools... Capable of supporting up to 200 lbs of stacked tiles, it simply fits on the top of a standard 3 or 5 gallon bucket. The Back Butter Buddy eliminates fatigue and injury. It also reduces breakage of tiles. The Back Butter Buddy was invented by a Contractor, for Contractors.
