MoonWhispers™ LLC has been creating quality art-to-wear since 2006. Our current focus is on artistic contemporary 21st century renditions of 13th century medieval Quilted Armor (or gambesons and aketons) and Metal Armor (chain rings or solid) and incorporating these two functions into a unique single piece which we've termed QuiltArmor®! When you think of Armor, it is unlikely that your mind goes to quilts or quilted material, unless you are an armor historian ( or into Renaissance re-enactments!) Quilted armor, in some form or fashion, has been MoonWhispers quilted vests combines metal armor, quilted armor and kikko armor in an artistic contemporary rendition.
