Dr. Kimani is ANCC Board certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Licensed in New Jersey. He specializes in family psychiatry and addiction, and has worked extensively with children and adolescents, adults and geriatric patients with psychiatric/mental illnesses. Dr.Kimani works in several facilities and agencies, where he is contracted to treat patients with psychiatric/ mental illness spectrum. He treats patients with schizophrenia, schizoaffective, bipolar spectrum, depression and anxiety, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), Social anxiety/phobia, phobias, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), body dysmorphia, eating disorders, children and adults with Attention deficit hyperactivity disorders (ADHD) among other disorders. Dr.Kimani also specializes in substance abuse and addiction.
