SHAYNE NAGY - Key Persons
Julie is a Client Assistant with Baird. She started in the investment business in 1998. She has been in the client relationship aspect of the business since she began in the industry. Julie assists with the scheduling and preparing of client meetings, and the day-to-day operational responsibilities of the team. She also helps in answering client questions and addressing their concerns.
Julie lives in Mishawaka with her dogs, Baby and Ladybug. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, listening to all genres of music and reading.
Mike graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Ball State University in 1969. He married his wife, Kathy, in 1970 and has two kids Matthew and Megan. Mike had a long, successful career for 40 years at Illinois Tool Works as a Sr. Account Manager in the Industrial Packaging Division. During this time Mike was elected Chairman of the Board of MFB Bank, a publicly traded community bank headquartered in Mishawaka, IN. After a brief retirement, Mike started a second career as a financial advisor at City Securities in 2012. A few short years later, Mike joined Baird in 2015. Initially working as a solo advisor, he teamed with Shayne Nagy and formed the Marien Nagy Group in 2022. Mike is currently President of the board of Hannah's House, a not-for-profit organization which provides assistance to disadvantaged women. Mike is active in the community and enjoys spending time with his four grandchildren.
Rebecca joined Baird in September 2019. She attended Indiana University South Bend, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing. She has also completed her Master's degree in Human Resources Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has passed all the exams required to become a registered general securities representative to further assist clients with their needs. Rebecca brings to the team a strong attention to detail, exceptional customer service, as well as a passion for listening, learning and understanding the financial services industry.
Originally from Shipshewana, Rebecca has been a lifelong resident of northern Indiana and currently resides in Mishawaka with her husband. She enjoys attending live sporting events, particularly Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame football games. She loves visiting new places and traveling in her free time and hopes to continue to check destinations off her bucket list.
