Kyle W. Taylor

Dr. Taylor has practiced dentistry since 1983, graduating from Emory University School of Dentistry in Atlanta, Georgia with honors. In his senior year, he was selected by faculty into the dental honor fraternity, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He is licensed in both North Carolina and Florida. He's spent the majority of his time in the dental profession treating the patients of his own solo practices. After graduation, Dr. Taylor extended his education by completing a dental General Practice Residency at Charlotte Memorial Hospital, now known as Atrium Health. During the residency he treated both outpatient and hospitalized medically compromised patients with advanced cancer and severe diabetes, as well as patients with sometimes severe trauma to their teeth and jaws. After the residency, Dr. Taylor opened two different private practices in the UNCC area of Charlotte, where he worked and treated patients for over 28 years, before running his current practices in the Triad area of North Carolina. Dr. Taylor completed a nine-month mini-residency in dental implantology at the Triangle Dental Institute in Durham in 2009. During this residency, he gained valuable education and experience in the dental field that helps him treat his patients with care every day. Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Taylor obtained his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1979. Dr. Taylor has assisted with the Communities in School's Partnership for Children's Dental Health. As part of this charitable program, he provided complimentary dental care to underserved children in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area. He also has participated in Give Kids A Smile Day and is always looking forward to more opportunities to volunteer. Dr. Taylor enjoys biking, hiking, and hanging out on Lake Norman with his wife of over 36 years, Linda and their two rescue Maltese, Shiloh & Levi. Linda is a Realtor who is also very committed to volunteering and online animal rights networking and petitioning to benefit numerous local and national dog and cat rescue organizations and causes.
