SUPERSHEAR

Often still called ‘Cooper-Stewart' or ‘Sunbeam', the story began in 1893. Stewart & Clark founded the Chicago Flexible Shaft Company and began making flexible drive shafts and sheep shearing equipment. The firm became Cooper-Stewart Sheep Shearing Machinery Co in 1896 and then the Sunbeam Corporation in 1948. Furthermore, the Supershear brand name was founded in 2001. Sunbeam decided to brand all its shearing products as "Supershear" before selling its rural division to the Tru-Test Group...
