The Trauma App is a robust digital solution, the result of a four year co-design and development process with trauma consultants and scribes across the four Major Trauma Centres in Scotland, with additional oversight from England, Wales and the US. Developed nationally with the four major trauma centres in NHS Scotland, the Trauma App is an intuitive iPad application, improving care through rapid digital capture of major trauma case data with real-time ease, seamless integration, and automated reporting... The development of The Trauma App has been driven by the development of the Scottish Trauma Network (STN) and in partnership with Daysix, a software development agency based in Scotland. STN seeks to redesign care to improve patient outcomes by delivery of integrated, multi-speciality care to the severely injured.
