LEE COUNTY

Development of a 4-lane divided roadway, 5-foot-wide bike lanes and 8-foot-wide sidewalk on the west side of the roadway and a 6-foot-wide sidewalk on the east side of the roadway in Phase 1. In Phase 2 there are 6-foot-wide sidewalks on both sides of the roadway... The first segment includes roadway north of Alico Road from Fiddlesticks Canal to the vicinity of Indian Pony Drive... Lee County has contracted with an engineering consultant to prepare plans to widen Corkscrew Road from Ben Hill Griffin Parkway to Alico Road, a distance of 4.4 miles.
