Vichitra Malhotra is a Consulting Actuary with 11 years of work experience in the Indian Market, providing consultancy in various practice areas. She is a qualified actuary from Institute of Actuaries of India as well as Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK. She has worked with large multinationals in India including PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Max Life Insurance and Canara HSBC OBC Life Insurance. She specializes in valuation of long-term liabilities for different entities, risk management and product design / pricing of different insurance products. Her experience includes leading audits of large Insurance Companies in UK and Europe, including managing multi-location teams and helping companies assess their solvency capital requirements, supporting Indian Insurance companies in adopting IFRS 4 and more recently IFRS 17, carrying out business planning, projecting the capital injections and future expected profitability for companies, valuation of long term insurance liabilities and product design and pricing of different types of Insurance products.
