VINO GROSS

At Vino Gross, we are thinking about tomorrow and beyond. Our vineyards are organic cultivated. We work hand in hand with the local people and in the spirit of maintaining good relations with our neighbours... The soils of Štajerska Slovenija offer the best conditions for the type of wine we want to produce. We do not mean "produce" in the sense of "make" or "manufacture". The wines come into being under the influence of soil and climate. We support their development, mainly through precise manual work in the vineyard, harvesting by hand and lots of time maturing in the cellar... We rely on traditional, natural methods. The wines ferment spontaneously - without the aid of artificial yeast - and mature over a long period in wooden barrels. We place great importance on bottling unfiltered wines with no finings added.
