West Bengal Livestock Development Corporation Limited was established in the year 1974 and registered under Companies act, 1956 under registration number- CIN U01211WB1974SGC029356.In the year 2018 W.B. Dairy & Poultry Development Corporation Ltd another Govt of West Bengal undertaking merged with this Corporation vide MCA order No. 24/4/2017-CL-III dated 10 th August 2018 w.e.f.01 st April,2018. The present authorized share capital of the Corporation after amalgamation is Rs. 26,00,00,000/- and the paid up Share Capital is Rs. 15,63,82,100/-. The share of the State Government is Rs. 15,38,82,100/- and that of the Central Government is Rs. 25,00,000/-. The Corporation is under the administrative control of the Department of Animal Resources Development, Govt. of West Bengal.
