WITNESSING WATERSHEDS

At the University of Nebraska at Kearney, we work at the intersection of ecological research, communication, and storytelling about rivers, landscape, and place. Many of our activities are in collaboration with Platte Basin Timelapse and the Surface Water and Groundwater Lab at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln... We train students and young professionals in multidisciplinary skill sets at the interface of ecology and communication. We focus on immersed and interdisciplinary learning through collaboration across disciplinary boundaries to work and learn from scientists, conservation photographers, documentary filmmakers, engineers, amongst other professional mentors.
