Tom's track record in taking facilities from a 1-Star ranking to a 5-Star ranking is legendary. Throughout his distinguished career he has led the facilities where he has served as Administrator to positions of expanded market penetration and dramatically improved financial performance.

With 20 years of experience managing quality Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, Assisted Living and Adult Day Health centers, Tom is a proven industry leader developing and ensuring culture, compliance and financial success. Tom has a considerable track record of turning failing Skilled Nursing Facilities from poor to great! Tom's most recent Regulatory and Financial accomplishments include a Skilled Nursing Facility that in 2015 was described by DPH as the worst in the state to a perfect survey in 2016 while also significantly improving the Financial performance of the Home.a

Also one of the two original founders and owners of Merrimack Health Group, Bill is the visionary on the team. From his experience spending several years as a Hospital Administrator, Bill became convinced that he could "do it better", and he did. The growth of Merrimack Health Group was unprecedented during its amazing expansion over two decades. More spectacular than the growth of the company, however, is Bill's innate ability to control growth while maintaining the highest levels of patient-centered care, building a highly engaged and motivated workforce and producing superior financial performance.

Ms. Laura McDonnell

Laura brings to the company a wealth of information and skills in Business Office operations. She was the Corporate Business Manager of Merrimack Health Group throughout its 20- year existence, overseeing the business office operations of the home office as well as the 14 facilities within the Merrimack Health Group system. Laura's expertise in streamlining and optimizing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Billing processes led her to a leadership role as the President of the Long Term Care Finance Association of Massachusetts. In addition, Laura is the author of two well-known industry journals that establish scalable and efficient Business Office best practices within Skilled Nursing Facilities. Both works remain highly regarded by healthcare professionals as performance benchmarks for the industry.
