ALL THINGS APPALACHIAN

We are a few families who get together and make things we need. We may be making 50 pounds of summer sausage one Saturday and building a drum smoker a couple weeks later. We make breakfast sausage, awesome hot pepper sauce like you've never tasted, smoked cheddar cheese, chandeliers for our houses. We brew the best beer and make some awesome hard spiced and spiked apple cider. We bake homemade breads, make soy candles, homemade soap, and laundry detergent. Just about anything we need we try and make ourselves. We sell several items we make at local tail gate markets and expect to expand the sales into greater markets soon... It is amazing how versatile the good old Oinker is. We make several different sausages with the same cut from our old friends... We are living the old DIY where we do almost everything ourselves without leaving society to homestead; off grid; somewhere in Montana because we do enjoy the new ways while respecting the old.
