Lada Milos Lee

Lada Milos Lee has been practicing as a chiropodist for 15 years and is currently owner of the Beaches Foot Care Centre In Toronto, Ontario. Lada obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Toronto, Canada; and Diploma in Chiropody at the Michener Institute of Applied Health Science, Canada. Lada is licenced by the College of Chiropodists of Ontario, and is a member of the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine ( CFPM ), and a member of Ontario Society of Chiropodist ( OSC ). Lada maintains the highest levels of accreditation and pursues ongoing education to stay up-to-date on the latest trends in foot care. Chiropodists and podiatrists are the only regulated foot specialists in Ontario. Moreover chiropodists and podiatrists are the only regulated health professionals in Ontario whose legislated scope of practice includes the provision of orthotics.

Marlene is a physiotherapist with over 25 years experience working in acute care, rehabilitation and the community. Her experience is varied, having worked with clients of all ages with orthopaedic and neurological dysfunction. For much of her career Marlene focused on wheelchair seating and mobility, with an emphasis on the importance of functional outcomes and seeing the impact of optimal postural alignment. These skills were immediately transferrable when she found Pilates with its focus on postural alignment, muscle retraining, coordination and precision to improve your posture and everyday functional movements. The practice of Clinical Pilates allows for progression from very gentle to very challenging exercises so that everyone can participate. Clinical Pilates is best for sub-acute or chronic injuries including the treatment of back, body or joint pain, muscle imbalances, alignment concerns and more. Marlene works one on one with her clients to explore their health concerns, set joint goals and develop a treatment plan based on Clinical Pilates & traditional physiotherapy exercise to improve her patients current concerns and prevent future injuries. Marlene obtained her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario and is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Marlene is a member of both the Ontario and Canadian Physiotherapy Associations and has presented at national and international conferences. Her passion for Pilates began at Nicole Pillar Studio where she completed her certification as an Essential and Intermediate Level Mat Pilates instructor. She continues her training with Stott Essential & Intermediate Reformer Instructor certification. Marlene is also a certified Urban Poling Instructor. In her spare time you will find Marlene enjoying the outdoors, where she incorporates her enthusiasm for exercise by walking, canoeing, hiking, stand up paddle boarding or snowshoeing.

Her methods are to help prevent and maintain optimal health and mobility.
