DAVID BOWERS

This website presents information and images related to the ancestry of the Bowers and Schmidt families, using as the root generation the marriages of Loren and Genevieve (Reynolds) Bowers and Conrad and Lucille (Apel) Schmidt, who lived in northern Iowa communities through most of the 20th century. The information presented here is some of what I, David Bowers, have collected over many years in occasional explorations into these two families ancestries... The working goal of this ongoing project is to trace the above family lines of direct ancestry back to their first appearance on the North American continent. For now this website will stop there, since following lines back to Europe requires access to records and foreign language skills not currently available to me.
